FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Here are answers to the questions readers ask most often: about this reference itself and the former website on this domain, about diplomas and other documents, and about money and account security. If you have not found an answer, see the sections on fraud schemes and troubleshooting.
If an offer demands an answer "right now", you always have the right to say: "I'll check and get back to you." An honest offer can wait.
About this reference
Is this the same site that used to carry diploma ads?
No. This domain used to host ads for the sale of documents and casino advertising. The current reference is not affiliated with them and explains why such offers are fraud.
Do you sell anything?
No. We do not sell documents, courses, software or "earnings", we promise no income and we give no investment advice.
Are you affiliated with a bank, the police or a government agency?
No. This reference is independent. Report fraud directly to your bank and the police.
Can I get legal advice from you?
No. We provide general information. For your specific situation, consult a lawyer.
Documents and diplomas
Can I legally get a diploma without studying?
No. An education document is issued by an educational institution after study and final assessment. A document obtained any other way is a forgery.
What are the risks of a forged diploma for the person who ordered it?
In Russia, using a document known to be forged is prohibited by Article 327 of the Criminal Code. On top of that, a forged document fails register checks, and the seller gets your money and your passport details.
How can an employer verify a candidate's diploma?
Ask the issuing institution directly or use the national authority's service — in Russia, the Rosobrnadzor service and the FRDO register. Check the details in official sources, not via links sent by the candidate.
The seller says the diploma is "in the register". Is that true?
Such claims are part of the advertising for forged documents. Details are entered in the register by the educational institution that issued the document after study. Check yourself through the official service, not via the seller's link.
Money and accounts
How do I recognise a pyramid scheme?
The main signs are guaranteed high income, rewards for recruiting new participants, pressure and urgency, and no clear product.
Can I pay for goods in cryptocurrency in Russia?
Federal Law No. 259-FZ prohibits accepting digital currency as payment for goods and services in Russia. If a seller insists on such payment, that is a reason to be wary.
Do I need to change my password every month?
According to NIST SP 800-63B, no, unless there are signs of compromise. A long unique password and a second factor matter more.
Someone from the "bank's security department" is calling and asking for a code. What should I do?
Hang up and call your bank yourself using the number on your card. Bank staff never ask for SMS codes or passwords.
